Hi!
I’m Ricardo.
I’ve always been in love with art, technology and creation. 3D has given me endless possibilities to bring projects, brands, ideas and stories to life through every single step of our process: with modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, rendering and compositing skills, leave it to me to create anything you need to stand out!
Highlights
Furby’s back! Hasbro Brasil needed someone who could do textures, animation, simulation, 2D/3D tracking and compositing for this advertising campaign, and as it just so happened, I did know how to do all that.
There are things you can’t just capture with a photo. How do you take your physical products to our digital social media world without losing any of the detail? After finishing this special frame for the brazilian premiere of Disney’s Mufasa, Plinfoto hired me to solve this issue, recreating every aspect of their polaroid frames in 3D.
A personal favorite, I got around to after I wrapped up Furby. Wanting to work with more toys and infuse a little bit more complex character animation into the FOOH/3D tracking process, with the character interacting with the world around it, this project was born.
Instagram Tutorials
(not officially tutorials!)
The first full “tutorial” released for this project, I went through Mario’s modeling, rigging, tracking and animation in a 3-part video. Editing this one wasn’t easy, but I later found out other projects would take me much, much longer to finish.
Enigma is a character from Flesh and Blood, a card game I very much love. Originally, this video would be celebrating Enigma’s win at Osaka Worlds, the game’s biggest tournament. I figured I’d transform it into an actual tutorial of how I brought Enigma’s design to 3D. And yes, modeling the clothes took as long as you’d think.
After watching plenty of Dragon Ball Daima, I really wanted to do something anime-related for my tutorials project. I had already created Goku in 3D back in July of 2023, but I wanted to do it again after more than a year of learning new techniques for modeling, rigging and texturing. The result was my favorite three-part tutorial out of every video I’ve done.
I wanted to create a character that would need to simulate fur, and Elmo came to mind: I just really like his cutesy design. After a good few days, the three-part tutorial was done.
Unreleased project! Haven’t finished it too. Not much to talk about. Yet!

Unreleased project! Can’t say much about this one.
